SUPPLY ACQUISITION

Our supplier network, coupled with tremendous storage assets, offers our customers the superior supply reliability.

RISK MANAGEMENT
Atmos Energy Marketing excels at using a variety of risk management tools that help protect customers from price volatility. Risk management programs are developed for each customer based on individual needs. Tools include fixed price hedging, market-based pricing, price triggers and price caps/collars. Atmos Energy Marketing’s risk management team ensures that customers can make long-range plans while managing exposure to market swings.

TRANSPORTATION
Atmos Energy Marketing has vast experience working with interstate and intrastate pipelines east of the Rockies. The company manages 1,800,000 dth of firm pipeline capacity delivering 300,000,000 dth annually to our customer base. These pipeline assets give our customers added flexibility and reliability. Our expertise also enables us to assist customers with receipt and delivery point capacities, pipeline contract negotiations and with federal and state regulatory issues.

STORAGE
Atmos Energy Marketing manages more than 40,000,000 dth of storage on multiple pipelines and through ownership of several gas storage facilities. These storage assets allow us to offer our customers flexibility and supply reliability. We also assist customers in developing and managing individual storage plans.

BALANCING
The Atmos Energy Marketing team takes the risky guesswork out of managing our customer’s gas supplies. We offer load forecasting based on statistical analysis, historical consumption, and projected changes. We can monitor gas usage on an hourly, daily, or monthly basis while tracking imbalances with 24/7 information access.
